Arano's

My first ever Career Management meeting in ASI was done at Arano's - an authentic Spanish restaurant in Guadalupe.

This resto is not your typical food hub with huge banner and gazillion lights surrounding it. Located inside a village, the restaurant's facade consists mainly of a blank white wall covered with vines, a simple wooden door, and a little signage saying "Arano's"

We arrived around 8pm, it was Wednesday so we were already expecting few customers inside. We opted to dine outside where there were trees and leaves all over the place. They also played Spanish songs, adding to the Spanish feel of the night!

paella, good for 8, P500
The paella alone quenches your hunger for Spanish food authenticity. I'm not much of a fan of Spanish cuisuine but this dish I will mark as one of my faves. It's not too salty and it's topped generously with seafood stuff. You'll definitely get your money's worth!

Baked Chicken, P360
This baked chicken is also a must-try. I'm pretty sure there were alot of spices enveloping this little heaven coz there's always this authentic taste in every mouthful of this meat.

We also ordered Lengua and Callos which unfortunately I wasn't able to take picture of.

I would highly recommend Arano's to all those who wants to try Spanish cuisine but doesn't want spending much bucks for it. Prices are pretty cheap yet the food are not sacrificed!

my First NEC Team Building

I'll only be posting 5 pics in this post, contrary to how I pic whore when I go to outings and out-of-town trips, due to the fact that my camera went battery empty few minutes after we arrive at Hidden Paradise Mountain Resort. TSKTSKTSKTSK!

Totally grateful that I was able to join this activity and here are the reasons why:

1. I now know that there's a Robinsons Mall at Lawaan. If I haven't asked my workmates more about the meeting place, I could've waited for hours at Robinsons Fuente. O____O

2. Discovering that I don't suck much at card games! I got my share of losing but most of the time, I was winning! :D :D :D

3. ZOMBAKINGS, THE CHRONICLES OF THE NARNIA, PATAYIN SA SHOKOT SI MAXIMO OLIVEROS, THE LION THE KING! hahahahahah

4. free FFOOODDD!

5. reliving my childhood, plastic balloons and puzzles!

6. seeing my bosses get drunk. OSM!

7. from acquaintances to friends. Happy to get to know my workmates more <3

I did something, and I love it!

Tonight, I did something that will take a long time for me to undo. I've been battling myself if I should get a rebond or perm. And the decision went final when the thought that life's too short to do the same thing again, struck me. And since I already had a hair rebond last year, maybe it's time for me to go for some gorgeous curls!
how it looked 'during'
CURLS!!! oh burn!
and how it looked "after"
Seriously, I was nervous with my decision. There were a lot of WHAT IFs in my mind just before the perming process. Good thing I loved the result and yes fellas, LEZ GO FLAUNT DIS ONE!

irese ♥ Ritter Sport

I guess my chocolate hoarding 2 weeks ago just paid off. Out of all the delectable chocolate brands I had purchased, Ritter Sport won me over. I never noticed Ritter Sport before since it's packaging is not that appealing to someone like me who weighs and measures stuff based on looks. hahaha. I didn't even know why I picked it out of all the brands available in the store. Well, good thing my impulsive buying gave Ritter Sport a try. I would have been in great regret to not taste this sweet lovely.

And look what I found, RITTER SPORT MINI! SSOOO OSSSMM RRAAYYTT???

March: JAPANESE FOOD @ Nonki

After going Greek, we decided to get our hunger for exciting food indulgences back to Asia. This time, we finally pursued Japanese cuisine.

Our March food trip is somehow special because it wasn't just the 3 of us who were able to enjoy the sumptuous delight. We had our special guest, K-san (might as well hide his identity, like G and A), who I hope would accompany us in our next food adventures. We are still looking for new members to join our food team and yes fellas, everybody's welcome!

THE AMBIANCE:
I would say that of the 3 restaurants that we had visited, Nonki's the best. We were able to occupy one of their rooms, making our experience private. This way, nobody would notice how I suck at using chopsticks! HAHA! The restaurant is also clean and neat. Each room has 2 tables, each could handle 4 people. Their table and seat structure is also soooo Japanese. I just love how you get so cozy and comfortable feeling like a true-blooded Jap.

THE SERVICE:
Aside from the fact that the waitresses were properly-dressed, they were also very polite in answering all of our questions. It took us about 15minutes to say our orders coz we were still asking our waitress what those dishes in the menu are made of. Nonki has a wide variety of dishes available and if you are going there with low knowledge of Japanese cuisine, better bring someone who knows about the jap menu . Lucky for us that we have K-san to tell us if this dish is deli or not. WOOOOTT!

THE FOOD:
Let me play the role of Captain Obvious here.... THE FOOD IS SOOOOO JAPANESE!!!!!! Now let the pictures make you hungry!

Party Sushi (P1400.00)
This has got to be the main attraction of our food trip. We were able to taste a variety of sushi with just this dish and trust me, for a Japanese newbie like me, every sushi is glittering!! Thou it's weird that if you let me differentiate the taste of each sushi right now, I probably would just give you a blank stare. I should have eaten every sushi with a long pause in between just so I could know their difference in taste.

Age Dashi Tofu (P140.00)
Chicken Teriyaki (P180.00)
Kushi Katsu (P160.00)
G's order. It's rice topped with scrambled egg with sausages, chicken hotdogs, onions,  whatevs.
Yaki Gyoza (P130.00)

Oyako Don (P190.00), my order :D
my least fave for the night. haha! but still worth the try!
coffe jelly with green tea ice cream

the shuuuper 4!
There's no better way to stress-free yourself than indulge in some great food! Itadakimasu!

looks could kill

It's official, I'm placing SHANE effing hot WEST on my men-who-deserves-a-ladie's-praise list.

Shane meh love,

Sorry if I did not give you so much attention on A Walk To Remember. I probably was innocent that time and all I could think of when we talk about hotness is a noisy kettle with water about to boil placed on the stove. But right now, I will give you the praise and lustful fantasy from a fan that you deserve. You kick ass on Nikita series and trust me, I don't mind your eyebags and squeaky voice on every episode! I will still love you!

love, hugs and kisses,
